Every Halloween Movie (They Never Actually Made)

6. Halloween: Asylum

Another one of the films that could have turned out to be Halloween 9 originally, this script was written by Matt Venne as a direct follow up to Resurrection, following the idea of Michael being subjected to death row, escaping at the last moment, and wreaking havoc on a prison full of people alongside his killer buddies. The main tension of the script comes from a nurse taking Myers on in the hall of records, after which Challis Stache elaborates on:

"The nurse gets away with the help of the warden, who shoots Michael down. His body disappears, though, and he attacks her at her house, only for the warden to come to her rescue again by driving his car through her front window Lethal Weapon 1 style and hitting Michael. The body disappears again, and it ends there.”

Lethal Weapon meets Halloween? The movie we never knew we needed.
