8. Dr Kaufman - Tomorrow Never Dies

Adolph Gettler James Bond
MGM

Talk about stealing the show.

Dr Kaufman (Vincent Schiavelli), an eccentric and arrogant German hitman, is only in one scene in Tomorrow Never Dies but that alone cements him as the finest villain in the movie by several clear miles.

Thanks to Schiavelli's creepy, weird yet delightful performance as well as some excellent dialogue, this deliciously evil assassin is an exceptionally entertaining bad guy who you'll probably find yourself liking despite your best efforts.

He does also kill Paris Carver (Teri Hatcher), someone Bond cared about, so therefore he has a heavy effect on Bond and this only makes the character hit even harder. Overall, he's arguably one of the best movie characters ever to appear in just one scene - Bond or otherwise.
