In Jurassic World Rebirth, Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) followed in the footsteps of Eli Mills from seven years earlier as the stereotypical evil businessman. He was behind the expedition to Ile Saint-Hubert, and though the DNA they were to extract could potentially save millions of lives, there can be no denying that he was doing it for the dollar bills.

He actively stopped Teresa (Luna Blaise) from calling for help when the boat was attacked by the Mosasaurus and the Spinosaurs, and he would have been happy to lose any human life other than his own to get his money.

Krebs claimed earlier in the film, in a discussion with Dr. Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), that he was too smart to die, but it was that very day that he was proved wrong. While trying to escape to the boat in the harbour that could have been his way off the island, Krebs frantically drove a jeep with every light and alarm going.

This would have drawn attention to him at the best of times, but when he drove the car directly into the hulking D-Rex, it didn't much matter.
