Every MCU Credits Scene Ranked From Worst To Best

54. Spider-Man: Homecoming - The Vulture In Prison

Avengers Infinity War Nick Fury

Scene: While in prison, the Vulture (Michael Keaton) has a brief conversation with Mac Gargan (Michael Mando), who says he's heard the Vulture knows who Spider-Man is. The Vulture denies this and goes to see his family in the visiting room. That's it.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a lively and joyous movie, but it certainly concludes with one of the most boring MCU credits scenes.

Toomes lying about Spider-Man was a nice touch that reinforces him as a complex villain and not just a straight-up evil dude, but other than that this is a deeply boring and unnecessary scene that adds absolutely nothing.

In fairness, it was probably intended to set up Mac Margan as the Scorpion, but it's been five years and not a peep off him since, so this was ultimately a post-credits scene that was not only not worth waiting for, but has gone absolutely nowhere - it wasn't even mentioned during Toomes' return in 2022's Morbius.

As such, it's another one of the worst MCU credits scenes.
