Scene: While Scott Lang undergoes a quick trip into the Quantum Realm, Hope (The Wasp), Hank Pym and Janet Pym (Michelle Pfeiffer) disintegrate thanks to the Snap, leaving Scott trapped inside the Quantum Realm with no way to escape.

In the months between Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp, most guessed that the ending would see some of the characters disintegrate. Therefore, we saw this coming but man, it still hit like a knuckleduster to the throat.

With the Pyms dead and the much-loved Ant-Man trapped in the Quantum Realm with no way to escape, this was an incredibly powerful and haunting end to what was actually a very forgettable superhero sequel. Honestly, this hit almost as hard as the ending to Avengers: Infinity War.

By many clear miles, this is the best part of Ant-Man and the Wasp and the fact that Scott Lang's entry into the Quantum Realm played such a huge part in the events of Avengers: Endgame makes this scene even better in hindsight.
