Every MCU Movie Superhero Team Ranked Worst To Best

Hyped at the Avengers: Age Of Ultron as the new Avengers team, the New Avengers introduced in the wake of the Battle of Sokovia might well be the most over-hyped group in MCU history.

Joss Whedon had introduced this new team - Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Vision, War Machine, Black Widow and Cap - as an answer to Hulk disappearing, Iron Man retiring (again), Hawkeye going back to his farm and Thor heading home to Asgard (and to find out about the Infinity Stones). At that stage, they were supremely powerful, thanks to Vision and Witch, but then Civil War came along and they had to be depowered for the sake of dramatic tension.

They were thrust together in a romantic tryst that compromised them as heroes, War Machine was relegated to a non-active Avenger and only the core of Cap, Falcon and Widow were any good. And they weren't enough to stop the disastrous Nigerian mission ending in a small-scale act of workplace genocide. No wonder the veterans had to come back.
