Every MCU Movie & TV Show Ranked Worst To Best
32. Ant-Man And The Wasp (2019)
As with its predecessor, Ant-Man and the Wasp was released as a welcome respite from two of the MCU's most emotionally taxing instalments (in this case, Infinity War and Endgame), and for that it deserves some credit.
It also deserves credit for its cast, especially an hilarious Paul Rudd, an affecting Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly, and a scene-stealing Michael Peña. So too does its creative action, which includes shrinking cars, new, matter-manipulating villain Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), and the official debut of Lilly's Wasp.
Those virtues aside, this sequel's flaws are overpowering. With constant pseudo-scientific jargon and a disposable set of antagonists, Ant-Man and the Wasp may be passably fun as a whole, but its low stakes and confused, stuffy story make it an affair difficult to remember once it ends.
