21. Ant-Man And The Wasp (2019)
Much like its predecessor, Ant-Man and the Wasp offered some much needed respite from the emotional heft of the more recent MCU instalments - specifically Avengers: Infinity War and its mind-melting finale.
With relentless humour and increased focus on Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne, the long-awaited sequel sheds some light on what Ant-Man was up to during the war with Thanos, and works as a fantastic tie-in to the upcoming conclusion of the Infinity Saga.
Sure, its villains are far from inspired, and the near-constant jargon regarding the "Quantum Realm" does take its toll, but between Michael Pena's fast-talking monologues and the chemistry of its lead stars, Ant-Man and the Wasp is both a narratively important and deliriously funny sequel in need of a re-appraisal.
