The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert director Stephan Elliott destroyed most of his filmmaking clout with this thoroughly misguided thriller he both wrote and directed.

Starring Ashley Judd - one of several actors who stars in two movies on this list - and Ewan McGregor, Eye of the Beholder follows an intelligence officer (McGregor) who tracks down a serial killer (Judd), but rather than turn her in, he decides to protect her.

Though there's an intriguing enough premise here, Elliott's insanely ridiculous, heavy-handed script makes this a movie enjoyable only for its unintentional hilarity, even if it largely takes itself way too seriously to be all that fun.

The performances are basically fine, but the script and its execution result in a jumbled mess of half-baked, tonally jarring ideas.
