Every Nick Robinson Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Everything, Everything
Deep-rooted in the star-crossed lovers YA novel adaptations that the last decade was famous far, Everything, Everything is very much modeled after the likes of The Fault In Our Stars, and even though it doesn't accomplish everything as successfully as that film did, it does stand above the majority of what the genre has to offer.
Centering on a teenager unable to leave her home (due to the fact that she suffers from SCID), the film follows her journey of self-discovery when the arrival of the hunky next-door neighbour - and their subsequent romance - makes her question everything she ever knew about her life.
Yes, it feeds into a few tropes here and there and the twist midway through feels a little too out-of-place in this kind of film, but the strong characterisation of Maddy and the performances from both Robinson and Amandla Stenberg are more than enough to make up for its shortcomings.
