Every Nick Robinson Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

5. Strange But True

Jurassic World Zach Mitchell Nick Robinson
CBS Films

Billed as a noir-thriller, Strange But True's central mystery involves a woman discovering that she's pregnant with the child of her deceased boyfriend... who died five years earlier.

Based on the novel of the same name and boasting one heck of a cast - with Margaret Qualley, Blythe Danner, Connor Jessup and Amy Ryan all appearing alongside Robinson - the film is certainly thrilling and, for the most part, it succeeds in keeping audiences guessing throughout. It's confounding when necessary and the story carries enough emotional stakes to keep you invested.

It does tend to venture into the area of logic-defying wonder just for the heck of it, and not everything that happens in the final act feels warranted or justified, but if you turn your basic desire for logic off, there is enough here to hook you until the end... but nothing more so than the cast's performances.
