Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best
35. Creepshow 2 (1987)
Unlike the first Creepshow, George A. Romero wasn't around to direct, only write, and his eye for the macabre is sorely missed. That said, Creepshow 2 isn't a total failure, thanks in large part to its silly but unsettling adaptation of King's short story "The Raft."
There's some genuine B-movie thrills here, though they're eventually suffocated by what surrounds it, from a dry story about a Native American curse and the tale of a hitchhiker whose more than meets the eye (dun-dun-dun). It's not unforgiveable, but it sure is a lacklustre affair given the effectiveness of its predecessor.
