3. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2

Release Date: TBC

While it was profitable, Into The Spider-Verse's sub-$400m global box office haul was a disgraceful testament to its quality, if that's the only gauge you look into. Because that film was so good it deserved to be a billion dollar movie. It was innovative, entertaining, had a gripping story and great characters. If it doesn't set the model for future comic book animations, there's something broken with the world.

Anyway, the good news is that we're getting a direct sequel, with Joaquim Dos Santos directing and no doubt a continuation of Miles Morales' story. There's also talk of Gwen Stacy returning and Spider-Man 2099's return (since he developed stable multiverse travel technology).

Add more villains, some more Kingpin and another good story into the mix again and we're in for another treat.
