Fan-Casting 7 Big Batman Villains For Ben Affleck's Solo Movies

2. Clive Owen As Two-Face

Clive Owen, as an actor, is somebody who never consistently plays the hero - he bounces between the light and the dark. He played a deadly assassin in the first Bourne movie and two years later, he was playing legendary hero King Arthur in the movie of the same name.

His vast experience (and skill) dealing with both sides of that coin will ensure he could do Harvey Dent/Two-Face justice, a character whose whole persona revolves around the decision to be good, or the decision to be bad.

Plus, even when Owen is playing the good guy, there's always something a little shady about him. This would be perfect for his scenes as Harvey; the actor's very nature would serve as a subtle piece of foreshadowing, planting the seeds of the District Attorney's demise right in plain sight.

Owen is also a few years older than Affleck, and this will work in favour of the role. His increased age gives him the ability to play an older, wiser version of the character, who's lived a full life and is every bit as good as Bruce is (if not more), and this'll make it even more tragic when he inevitably falls from grace.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
