12. The Muscle
The casting of Jamie Bell was met with surprise by some. The young British star of Billy Elliot and Hallam Foe seemed both the wrong nationality and body type to play the rough-and-ready Ben Grimm of Yancy Street. It's still weird seeing Miles Teller as Reed Richards refer to his childhood pal as the muscle who will make sure the labcoats won't push him around in this trailer, but not because of how he looks. Bell does look like the muscle. He's not quite the imposing figure he becomes post-transformation, but neither is the thin slip of a lad that was the best thing about disappointing teleporting thriller Jumper. This is a big, bulky Ben Grimm who can smash a neon sign with a baseball hit without being Michael Chiklis.
