Fantastic Four New Trailer Breakdown: 25 Things You Need To See
23. The Baxter Building
Hey, the Baxter Building! The Fantastic Four's iconic, skyscraping home base from the comics is lacking its vainglorious huge 4 carved into the top few floors. In fact, it looks like the Building isn't even the property of the team, at least not to begin with. In the comics, much like the failed space voyage, they rent the top of the building thanks to Reed's independent wealth; eventually, they buy the whole thing. Instead, this new trailer suggests with its first view of the Building that the Baxter company are the people funding Dr Storm and Reed's research, with the young Reed staring up at the building in awe. Obviously also this is New York, because that's where all Marvel heroes live. Although as the trailer goes on, we'll see that the film doesn't spend all that long in the city...
