Fast & Furious 8: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

14. Raldo

Celestino Cornielle
CBS

Raldo is a flatly ridiculous character, but he is at least more than one-dimensional. He appears as the "antagonist" of the opening prologue in Cuba - a street tough who controls the community through fear and (quite justifiably) attempts to collect on debts. He's also a murderous psychopath who attempts to kill Dom during their race, but that's all forgotten because Dom forgives him for being such a rascal and lets him keep his car.

None of this makes a great deal of sense, but Raldo at least looks the part. Right up until he's transformed into a simpering fanboy smiling affectionately at Dom "Robin Hood" Toretto after their race.

Also, it makes precisely ZERO sense that he would be able to help Dom out during his attempt to meet up with Mrs Shaw, because Dom had absolutely no means of communicating with him. Not only did they not exchange numbers, Dom has no phone, no unmonitored means of communication and no direct line to him anyway... Are we supposed to believe they had connected on such a deep emotional level that they are now capable of international telepathy?
