For certain people, the mind-bending scene in Black Swan when Kunis' rival dancer performs lurid and provocative oral sex on Natalie Portman, as an embodiment of her obsession and loss of her grasp on reality, is the single most defining moment in Kunis' career to date. Forget That 70s show and Family Guy, and brush aside her work in other films that have seen her rise to the top of the list of hottest acting talents, it is this scene, featuring simulated oral sex that stands out the most. And who can really blame them? In an emotionally explosive tinder-box of a film, heavy with provocative images and scenes, this scene stands above all others as one of the most affecting in the film, and it's not just because of the raunchy element. Perhaps if the director chosen to handle 50 Shades can channel the explosive sexual energy of this scene, and frame Kunis as well as Aronofsky did for Black Swan, they will have an unlikely critical hit on their hands.
