25. The Setting
Real life often changes films in major ways: disasters can evolve productions or end them completely, real life tragedies can remove actors and sometimes it's more of a philosophical change brought about by hot issues that leave their mark.
Such is the case with Finding Dory. Originally, the film was going to be set in an aquatic park rather than a Marine Biology Institute, but it was changed when controversial documentary Blackfish was screened for the crew. The ethical issues of the film left such an impression that a more ecologically friendly setting was adopted.
