Ghostbusters: 11 Things That Must Happen In The Sequel

2. Stronger Editing & Pacing

Ghostbusters Reboot 2
Sony Pictures

Here's a movie that seriously could've done with sharper editing throughout. Some scenes drag long beyond their tolerance level while others feel rushed and cut to pieces, creating an inconsistent pace and killing a number of gags before they even have a chance. It's fair to say that the 116 minute run-time feels a little too much.

The editing team of Melissa Bretherton and Brent White sadly did a pretty mediocre job here, and hopefully Paul Feig will appreciate this and hire somebody else for the next film. Considering that both are frequent collaborators of Feig's, though, it seems pretty unlikely. Here's to hoping.
