Ghostbusters: 11 Things That Must Happen In The Sequel
1. No More Weird 3D
One of the weirdest and most irritating things about the movie is the 3D: the film is presented in regular cinemas with black bars at the top and bottom, so that the various CGI effects can travel outside the "bounds" of the screen.
This results in the proton bursts and ghosts appearing to crawl onto the black bars, which while surely intended to heighten immersion ironically has the opposite effect: instead, it's immensely distracting and may frequently pull viewers out of the film.
It's annoying enough that you may want to just see the film in 2D instead, unless you're a huge fan of the format regardless.
