2. Rocket Looks Awesome

We may only see a few brief glimpses of him (mots likely because they're still polishing up his CGI), but Rocket looks great. He's been described by Gunn as the "heart" of the story, and will no doubt be an audience favorite when the movie comes out. Besides his best pal Groot, he's easily the most visually interesting character, and is also the one Marvel will have to sell the most. You don't want him looking like some CGI cartoon walking next to Drax the Destroyer, and you need to make sure that his mere existence is believable. Aliens and creatures are things audiences have come to appreciate and accept; talking animals are another thing entirely. The answer? Make him a badass. Put a giant gun in his hands and let him loose on what appears to be a room full of attacking prisoners. Rocket is the ballistics expert on the team, and has quite the rap sheet (50 counts of vehicular theft and escape from lockup), so he's definitely not someone you want to mess with. I look forward to seeing what he looks like when they show us more of him.
