Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

8. Gamora

It's something of a shame for Gamora in the sequel, but she isn't so much a narrative driver as a passenger who things happen to. The sister friction story belongs to Nebula, she's not exactly key to the Ego story (even though she discovers his chamber of bones) and she doesn't really help take him down in the end.

She's not a bad character, per se, and there's very little wrong with Zoe Saldana's performance, but she's just not all that interesting this time around, which is a bit of a shame. Hopefully she's given better focus next time out.

Having said that, it was undoubtedly a good choice not to follow through on the romance between her and Star-Lord and to leave it as an "unspoken thing" though, as she'd only have been sidelined even more.
