Halloween: Everything You Need To Know About Michael Myers
9. He Likes The Taste Of Dog
One of several nitpicks often lobbed at the franchise is what kind of diet Michael Myers must be living off of while he's on his murderous rampages, as he isn't exactly the kind of guy who can just stroll up to a fast food joint and order a burger.
But several times throughout the franchise, this question has been answered: he eats dogs. While this may sound like the kind of grotesque touch that was added in later sequels to up the gore and respond to pesky nitpicks, it was actually first introduced in the original film.
When Loomis and Sheriff Leigh Brackett go to the Myers house to investigate, they find the half-eaten body of a dog carcass, to which Loomis responds: "He got hungry."
Michael is seen eating another dog carcass years later in the opening of Halloween 5, as a way to regain his strength. And lastly, in Rob Zombie's Halloween II, when a group of hunters foolishly decide to try to force Michael off of their land, he kills them all and then eats their dog.
This is all notable for being the only thing Michael has ever been seen eating. So according to pretty much every timeline, once he breaks out of Smith's Grove in 1978, Michael survives solely on a diet of dog.
