Halloween: Everything You Need To Know About Michael Myers
3. He's A Deadbeat Dad
After capturing Jamie, his niece, at the end of Halloween 5, the sixth film opened a full six years later with Jamie and Michael living underground with the Cult of Thorn.
The film's opening showed Jamie giving birth to a child shortly before Halloween night. And while it's never explicitly stated in the theatrical cut of the film and kind of shooed away as an artificial insemination, the original cut of the film (commonly referred to as the Producer's Cut) doesn't shy away from the point; Michael Myers raped and impregnated his own niece.
This was and is a tapestry of gross from Michael, what with the rape, the incest, and the fact that Jamie was only fifteen at the time.
The child, Steven Lloyd, was crucial to the Cult of Thorn's plans, acting as an experiment to see if the Cult of Thorn could genetically replicate Michael's evil powers. He was essentially the MacGuffin for the entirety of Halloween 6.
And yet, thanks to the franchise's differing timelines, the child was never seen or heard from again. So presumably, there's an adult Steven Lloyd out there somewhere in at least one of the timelines simply pining for the love of his father, wishing he would take a break from work and come back home to Haddonfield for one more night.
