Her role in the story may have been more or less a footnote, but Romilda Vane does stand out as another character who will make you question the all Gryffindors are great people logic.

In the sixth book, she develops an infatuation with Harry, mainly because of the latter’s new status as the potential Chosen One. She tries unsuccessfully to flirt with him on numerous occasions, even going as far as to suggest he would do better with a cooler friend circle such as hers.

When all that fails, she even tries to trick him into drinking a love potion, multiple times. Though all her efforts bore no fruit, Romilda remains as one of the Gryffindors you best avoid.
