2. Dolores Umbridge – Attacked Hagrid And McGonagall
Professor Umbridge is easy to hate. Everything from her irritating laugh to her medieval methods of punishment makes her detestable.
In the latter stages of The Order of the Phoenix, this repulsive witch replaces Dumbledore as head of Hogwarts and attempts to drastically alter the school. Before long, she and a gang of ministry officials head to Hagrid’s hut in the middle of the night in an attempt to remove him from the grounds. The situation quickly escalates, and Hagrid and Fang are soon fighting against a wave of curses.
Though Hagrid manages to flee unscathed, Professor McGonagall isn’t so fortunate. In an attempt to help the gamekeeper, McGonagall makes her way towards his cabin and demands the violence comes to a halt. Without so much as a warning, Umbridge and her cronies fire a series of stunning spells right at her.
The shire cowardice and brutality of this act is shocking even for Umbridge, and due to the damage caused by the spells, McGonagall has to spend months inside St. Mungo’s Hospital.
