Harry Potter: Every Dumbledore’s Army Member Ranked
4. Luna Lovegood
When Luna Lovegood was introduced to the world of Harry Potter, you'd have been forgiven for thinking she wouldn't have been the strongest witch Hogwarts could boast. She was reading her book upside down, on more than one occasion mentioned Nargles, which no one else had heard of, and she was referred to by Hermione as Loony Lovegood.
However, not only did the Ravenclaw prove herself to be a more than capable witch, she was one of the kindest, and most loyal friends Harry was lucky enough to have. When the first meeting in Hogsmeade wasn't going so well, Luna was the first to speak up in defence of Mr. Potter, asking about his skill rather than questioning his story.
Her knowledge of the Thestrals came in handy for Dumbledore's Army, as they flew the fantastic beasts to the Ministry, even though it must have appeared to everyone but Harry and herself that they were floating. Once they got to the Ministry, Luna proved herself to be integral to the Battle of the Department of Mysteries.
Using a very powerful Levicorpus spell, she was able to save her own life and defeat a masked Death Eater by her herself, before joining back up with the rest of the team.
