Harry Potter: The Progressively Harder Hogwarts Houses Quiz

Every year at Hogwarts a new batch of students arrive, waiting eagerly to be sorted into their houses.

With each founding member of Hogwarts seeking to teach students of different virtues, they decided to let the magical Sorting Hat decide which student should be taught in each house.

The bravest of those are placed in Gryffindor whilst the most cunning find their home in Slytherin. The wisest of students head to Ravenclaw and those who display patience make their way into Hufflepuff.

Proudly displaying their own house colours, each house's common room is located in a different part of the castle. Some way up in the tall towers, others down below near the kitchen.

There are plenty of rivalries to be found amongst the houses, especially when it comes to Quidditch.

Then there's the House Cup to play for. Each student scoring points throughout the year, earning the chance to win the glory.

Many of us dream of attending Hogwarts, taking pride of place in our favourite Hogwarts House. The question is, how much do you know about the four houses?
