Henry Cavill Back As Superman: 10 Predictions For His DCEU Future
3. Assembling A New Team
Marvel Studios is unable to make a solo movie for The Hulk due to distribution rights issues with Universal Pictures. They can, however, use him elsewhere, hence why the Jade Giant has shown up in The Avengers and Thor franchises, and is now set to play a supporting role in She-Hulk on Disney+.
Warner Bros. doesn't have those complicated legal issues, but Superman could play a similar supporting role across a number of DC franchises. In fact, rather than The Hulk, he could actually be the DC Extended Universe's Nick Fury, showing up to assemble a new Justice League team.
By having Henry Cavill make his presence felt in everything from The Batman to Shazam! 2 and The Flash, the excitement for another Justice League movie could finally begin to build again, and Warner Bros. could very well end up redeeming a franchise which needs all the help it can get after 2017.
If the "Snyder Cut" is a hit too, then there will definitely a renewed interest in these heroes assembling.
