Hitman Film Reboot: 5 Mistakes To Avoid

1. Casting Paul Walker

paul walker hitman I shouldn't even have to go over this one, but here goes. Paul Walker is an absolute mistake as Agent 47. He's been good in films before like Running Scared, but he doesn't fit the bill at all here. Walker has a sensitive face and eyes. When he's starring opposite people like Vin Diesel in films like the Fast and Furious flicks he's fine, but here he's all wrong. Can anyone actually picture him with his head completely shaved? For this character, we need an actor that's dark and that has some sort of machismo. Walker seems picked because he's likable in the role and bankable as a star. However, Agent 47 shouldn't be likable. We need an actor that will sell a character, not a movie. That, though, is why it all goes back to Fox. They need to decide what direction to take this film in. It seems they've already decided with their actor and start date set, but Agent 47 won't be a good film unless producers realize the potential of the actual story and character and unless they decide to make a real film and not just another film adaptation of a video game.
