5. Theoden

King of the Rohan - when we met him in The Two Towers, Theoden had been reduced to a shadow of himself until he awakens from his hypnotic stupor and leads his people into battle. I love the proud people of Rohan - they are good people, bound to their horses, living simple and passionate lives. It would have been nice to see Theoden as a younger man, slowly becoming the strong and mighty warrior who would also become king. I think there's something in human DNA that resonates with the old ways of the noble tribes/indigenous people from around the world - riding horses, wind in your hair, fresh air in your lungs, hunting food, shiny metal swords, great fires to tell stories around, with friends and family close by. Theoden is highly representative of that, which would make him perfect for a little cameo when this movie swings around.
