Holmes & Watson Review: 2 Ups & 6 Downs

1. It's Mercifully Short

It's an undeniably back-handed compliment, but at just 90 minutes in length, Holmes & Watson at least doesn't drag on for an unreasonable length of time.

In its most mild defence, it moves fast and generally doesn't linger on one dud gag for too long (admittedly before simply moving onto the next dud).

Sans credits it's barely 80 minutes of your life, and for the most part it's easy enough to just sit back and soak in the awfulness, rather than end up exhausted by a two-hour barrage of "comedy."

If you want something to serve as white noise while you clean the house, this is the perfect film for that. A ringing endorsement if there ever was one, obviously.
