20 Horror Movies You Should Watch Totally BLIND

3. I See You

I See You
Saban Films

Perhaps the single most underseen film on this list, I See You is an unexpectedly ambitious horror-thriller which touts a seemingly familiar premise but whose execution is anything but.

The story follows the lead investigator on a missing person case (Jon Tenney) who begins to experience strange phenomena in his home, and filmmaker Adam Randall does a terrific job of keeping the narrative balanced on a razor's edge where several possibilities are viable for much of the runtime.

Randall employs some incredibly smart and subversive shifts of perspective and style to keep the audience guessing, but none of it feels cheap or manipulative - it's all in the service of telling a story that's teased from the beginning and only becomes more fascinatingly labyrinthine throughout.

The ensemble cast - led by Tenney, Helen Hunt, Owen Teague, and Libe Barer - is fantastic, working fully in service of a compellingly dense, multi-faceted script.
