How The MCU's X-Men COULD Look

5. Rogue

As was the case with Famke Janssen's Jean Grey, Anna Paquin's Rogue looked more like Black Widow than the character she was actually meant to be.

In the original X-Men films, she wore a leather jumpsuit with no distinguishing features. The only thing that would indicate she's even a member of the X-Men is the small X-shaped belt buckle so many of them wore. In her case, the belt buckle was green, a nod to her comic suit, but the green was so dark and so muted that it might as well have been black.

Here, Werneck throws that out the window, and the character is all the better for it. He incorporates the classic green, yellow, and black in a stylish, streamlined way that isn't too harsh on the eyes, and expands the X that usually sits on her left bosom to cover her entire chest. There is significantly less yellow, and we don't get her yellow boots, but there's enough yellow to make this piece evocative of her OG outfit.

Of course, what would Rogue be without her signature leather jacket and her gray hair? Werneck effortlessly incorporates her jacket into this piece without it seeming over-the-top or out of place. What's more, her big brown curls and splash of gray are pulled off in a believable way, ensuring that the gray looks natural and not like an obvious dye job. This truly is the Rogue we deserve.
