In The Heart Of The Sea Trailer - Chris Hemsworth And Tom Holland Have A Whale Of A Time

Ron Howard's latest tells the true Moby Dick story.

Ron Howard is be one of the most under-appreciated modern directors. He not only has a consistent, above average output, but he's been responsible for some of the tensest movies of the past couple of decades. Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind, Rush; ignore The Da Vinci Code (hey, everyone has to pay the bills) and its an enviable filmography. But despite all that, he's never someone people rave about (and with Rush they really should have). The full trailer for his latest film, In The Heart Of The Sea, has just dropped and if his past successes didn't already have the true Moby Dick movie on your radar, this should do the trick. The film is based on the real events that inspired Herman Melville's classic tale, telling the story of a whaling ship (captained by none other than Chris Hemsworth) that comes under attack from a gigantic, vengeful whale. Expect spectacle and plenty of harrowing aftermath. An unexpected selling point for the film is the casting of Tom Holland as one of the crewmen. The new Spider-Man is pretty much an unknown, so, unless you were one of the few who caught the surprisingly-good The Impossible, then this is going to be one of your first chances to catch the MCU Peter Parker in action. Of course, you were going to see it anyway, right? Have a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think down in the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGili_zcSo8&feature=youtu.be In The Heart Of The Sea is in cinemas on 11th December (US)/26th December (UK).
