Iron Man is arguably the most popular character to have emerged admist all these Marvel movie adaptations that never seem to end, presumably because he's witty and cool, a genius, a lady's man, and (most importantly of all) a regular human being. That's right: Tony Stark doesn't have an inch of "super" running through him - he's just intelligent, endlessly resourceful and the only guy who knows how to get the best out of that Iron Man suit. The Avengers last year, it appears as though the only way for this constantly quipping character to go is... well, up. So with
Iron Man 3 inching ever closing to a cinema near you, we've assembled 10 reasons to be excited about the third installment in this excellent series.

10. Aldrich Killian
Though Guy Pearce has admitted that his upcoming turn as Aldrich Killian is only a cameo of sorts, that doesn't stop us from getting seriously excited about the prospect of this character turning up to exchange a few words with Tony Stark - it's Guy Pearce, after all, this century's king of cameos (you last saw him as the old man in
Prometheus). For those who don't know, Killian is a scientist within the Marvel universe, and the co-creator of the "Extremis" virus. Assumedly a bad guy for the purposes of
Iron Man 3, Killian steals a sample of the virus and sells it to domestic terrorists. He's also the partner of Dr. Maya Hansen (we'll come to her later). Racked with guilt for performing what can only be branded a " serious d*ck-move," Killian evokes to blow his own brains out. What's so bad about this virus, then? Well...
