7. Shane Black

Personally, we can't think of anybody better than writer/director Shane Black to take on an
Iron Man installment. Not only is he one of the best Hollywood screenwriters ever, he's renowed for writing the kind of savvy, slick, witty dialogue cues that have made the Iron Man so popular - you could even go as far to say that he's a freakin' genius in the department. Not only that, but Black has worked with Robert Downey Jr. to great success already, what with their little-known (and amazingly underrated) noir flick
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. They seemed like a match made in Heaven then, so it's majorly exciting knowing that these two talents will unite once more for a motion picture perfectly suited to their idiosyncratic stylings. On
Iron Man 3, Black has stated: "I think weve really found ways to make this feel organic and new, based on whats come before, and thats what Im happy about." Can't ask for anymore than that, can we?
