All over America, The Last Dance, ESPN and Netflix's mutli-part series on Michael Jordan, has been dominating ratings, giving sports fans something to talk about all through a Sunday night. The series touches on every possible facet of Jordan's career, from his political activism (or lack thereof), to his sponsorships, to his blood feud with Isaiah Thomas. But one aspect of Michael Jordan's career made him cross the border from just being an icon of sport, to a symbol of Americana.

Whether people enjoy basketball or not, whether they've ever laced up a pair of Air Jordan's for a night out, they've definitely seen his box office boon, Space Jam.

It seemed to have everything going for it, a basketball player with a brand so strong it bordered on personality cult, the support from other NBA players so even contrarian fans could see their favorites, an infectious theme that still gets memed to this day, and of course, the Looney Tunes cast.

The film grossed almost three times its budget and still to this day has fans clamoring for a sequel, which is currently in the works.
