James Bond: 10 Bond Girls Who Became Massive Stars

10. Teri Hatcher

Teri Hatcher might be famous now for tripping over her own feet and sobbing at every available dramatic moment on Desperate Housewives, but before she became one of the most notable stars on primetime TV, she was one of Pierce Brosnan€™s Bond girls, taking on the role of Paris Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies. Paris is a somewhat-complex character - on the surface, she appears as a bored trophy wife, playing the loving partner to Jonathan Pryce€™s media mogul Elliott Carver, but deep down she has a past connection with Bond, and is desperately seeking a real connection and escape from her life. Sadly, Paris didn€™t even make it to the halfway mark of the film, but Hatcher - whose biggest previous role was in the Lois And Clark TV show - built upon her big screen breakout and the opportunities it offered. She eventually became a household name, several years later, when she secured the lead role of accident-prone Susan Mayer in soap-dramedy Desperate Housewives, and garnered a massive weekly salary and a massive global standing for a number of years. Even now the show has ended, Hatcher remains an iconic part of TV history, and her future looks especially promising as she continues to build upon her previous successes.
