Jamie Dornan: 10 Previous Roles You May Have Missed

8. Nice To Meet You

After an appearance in an acclaimed American movie and a lead in a Hammer horror serial, Dornan spent a few years in the wilderness, making short films and one little-seen independent movie while making a go of it with his own band. The first short he made in this period, Nice To Meet You, is no great work of art and, as would often be the case for Dornan up until his role in The Fall four years later, his part in it would require no more from him than showing up and looking as good as one would expect of a man who once bagged Keira Knightley as a partner. Nice To Meet You is about a young man (Dornan) who, after a brush with the law one day, finds himself entangled romantically with a mother and daughter. The hint here that Dornan would one day become a movie star? The fact that two women convincingly fall in love with his character having merely looked at him.
