The score for Jaws contains what is probably the most recognisable two-note motif in the history of film. But the memorable "baa-bum" of the terror of the deep has somewhat overshadowed the terrific score that surrounds that theme. Among the many highlights include the brutal and intense opening scene, a baroque-esque theme called "The Shark Cage Fugue," the mysterious "Ben Gardner's Boat," a lighthearted portrayal of various beachgoers, and a multitude of diverse action cues.
