Jurassic Park Cast: Where Are They Now?

Stealing every second of every scene he's in, Jeff Goldblum played the charismatic, open-shirted, chaos theory mathematician Dr Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park, who was drafted in by InGen's lawyer Donald Gennaro (Martin Ferrero) as an insurance consultant for the park, while providing an ironic running commentary and a treasure trove of memeable content.

Goldblum was already well-established in Hollywood prior to Jurassic Park, and has since expanded upon his substantial body of work, more recently featuring as the Grandmaster, ruler of Sakaar, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He has starred in many TV shows too, with a full season run as Detective Zack Nichols on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and now in the documentary series The World According to Jeff Goldblum, where he tackles everything from ice-cream to tattoos with his signature charm.

Cementing his reputation as the smooth-talking coolest cat, he has also released two jazz albums: The Capitol Studios Sessions and I Shouldn't Be Telling You This, on which he plays piano and leads the band.

Goldblum was one of only two main cast members to return for the middling 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and, luckily (for him), he declined the third. He recently re-entered the franchise in the series' fifth instalment/second of the soft-reboots, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2019), reprising his role as Dr Ian Malcolm in a notably slender cameo. He is also set to return to alongside Dern, Neill, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in the trilogy's closer next year.
