His Role In the Trilogy: Paleontologist Alan Grant in the original film, who was later misled by the Kirbys and stranded on Isla Sorna in Jurassic Park III. In the Years That Followed: Since 2001, the actor has done a host of miniseries and taken part in films like Wimbledon, Rowan Woods' Little Fish, the vampire film Daybreakers, Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'Hoole, the Willem Dafoe-starrer The Hunter and the Stallone/Schwarzenegger vehicle Escape Plan. He's also appeared on a number of shows in recurring or starring capacity such as The Tudors, NBC's Crusoe, ABC's Happy Town, Fox's Alcatraz, ABC1's Old School and BBC Two's Peaky Blinders. As of 2015: It's been a busy year for Neill, who's starred in House Of Hancock, The Dovekeepers and with Geoffrey Rush and Miranda Otto in The Daughter. On the way, you can see him in the science-fiction thriller DxM, with Charles Dance in the miniseries adaptation of Agatha Christie's mystery novel And Then There Were None and in What We Do In The Shadows director Taika Waititi's Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which sees Neill as a foster uncle on the run in the wilderness of New Zealand with his rebellious nephew.
