Jurassic World: 10 Things That Need To Happen In The Sequel

2. A Plot That Can Compete With The Original

Fans of Jurassic World might demand a sequel but, once it's out, they'll be a difficult bunch to please. Fans want a sequel with story and character development, not just another dinosaur escape movie. While another film is surely what every fan wants to see, they'd sooner see a successful one or none at all. With Jurassic World it was a natural progression to finally have the dinosaurs on public display since it's an incontrovertible fact that money talks. But what would the next move be? We learned the park was suffering from dwindling profits in the last movie, so how could a reopening of the park be justified? Should a new direction be taken or is there scope to do this convincingly? Perhaps the next film could simply pick up were Jurassic World left off - there are still thousands of people on the island with a T-Rex on the loose after all. And what if the park owners cooked up another type of hybrid in the lab? There a plenty of possibilities once a legitimate reason for people to get back on the island is found.
