Changes are being rung in front of the camera as well. Although Pratt, Howard and BD Wong are all returning, Jake Johnson won't be. His theme park employee Lowery won't feature in Jurassic World 2. Instead there will be an injection of fresh blood in the cast; fresh blood that may well be spilled in the movie.
Toby Jones and Rafe Spall have signed up for mystery roles, which could slot into the Slough-shot scenes. Maybe they're a pair of British scientists, adding a global element to the film. That's just speculation, admittedly.
Daniella Pineda (seen in The Detour), Ted Levine (Silence Of The Lambs), James Cromwell (Babe) and Justice Smith (Netflix's The Get Down) have all been cast too. Universal is holding its cards close to its chest, and hasn't released any character descriptions to go with the castings.
