5. Rexy Gets His Classic, Now-Obligatory Money Shot
It's not a Jurassic Park movie without cannon-fodder humans, and it's also not a Jurassic Park movie without a wide shot of a T-Rex striking a majestic pose and letting off an earth-shattering roar.
This is one of many ways Fallen Kingdom will pay homage to earlier films in the franchise (another being the inclusion of Ian Malcolm). Bayona said as much during his chat with The Independent, where he talked about how these callbacks will impact the story:
"For Colin [Trevorrow, the film's writer] and I, it was about finding connections with the old trilogy - that makes it very rich as we are expanding Jurassic World but also finding new connections with Jurassic Park... it's kind of exciting when you find your connections take the story to a whole new level."
It sounds like fans of the franchise will not be disappointed after Jurassic World was rather light on connections to the older movies, and now that this new era of Jurassic stories has been set up, there's room to incorporate a bit more fan-service.
