Jurassic World 2 Trailer - 11 Big Things We Learned

For Owen, the trailer features not one, but two reasons for him to head back to Isla Nublar, even though no-one in their right mind would choose to do so.

Besides the primary goal of rescuing the large dinosaur population from certain death, he'll be attempting to reunite with Blue, leader of the velociraptor pack in Jurassic World.

Only, there's no pack anymore - Blue is a lone wolf. The last time Owen saw her was during the Indominus/T-Rex fight at the end of Jurassic World, and given that he and the animal had developed a strong bond - beginning when Blue was born - it's not surprising to see Owen return to the island in search of her.

Blue's presence in the trailer also raises a big question. How does Claire know that Blue is alive? She's the one who tells Owen that this is the case, but how did she find out without visiting Isla Nublar beforehand? It's possible she's bluffing just to get Owen to tag along, but this isn't something the trailers are likely to reveal.

Exactly how Blue will factor into the plot (if at all) remains to be seen, but Owen will definitely not leave her behind, so expect the raptor to be prowling around the human's ship at some point.
