3. None Of The Heroes Die
It's genuinely surprising how low Dominion's body count of name characters is: sure we see a few people get munched during the Malta sequence, but the only real character of note to die is Lewis Dodgson himself.
While previous Jurassic movies savagely relished seeing heroes and villains alike get brutally killed off, there's basically none of that here, as every single one of the many, many benevolent characters caught up in the third act survives to the end.
Though it would've probably struck a sour note to kill off Ellie, Alan, or Ian, many suspected that Owen might die at the end to give the film some added emotional oomph, but alas, he survives, as does everybody else.
Another obvious choice would've been Dr. Wu, sacrificing himself somehow to help the others escape, but he survives too.
It ultimately just adds up to make the film feel aggressively low-stakes, that despite these ferocious dinosaurs rampaging around, nobody's life really seems to be in danger.
