Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - 12 Stupidest Moments In The Dumbest Jurassic Park Movie Ever
8. Owen's Basically A Superhero

One of the worst things about Fallen Kingdom is that the sense of threat and terror that was present in even some of the lesser Jurassic Park movies really isn't there.
The main problem is that Owen never seems scared or fearful for his life, and when he casually wise-cracks about the danger ahead, it reduces the basic human tension and suspense that the original in particular conveyed so brilliantly.
Before long, Owen's flipping out of the way of dinosaurs, rolling through a T-Rex's open mouth and exhibiting cat-like reflexes like it's no big deal. That's to say nothing of him somehow running away from the volcano's pyroclastic flow, which would require him to be running in excess of 300mph to stand even the slightest chance of survival.
Seriously, even Star-Lord doesn't seem this over-powered. There's not a single moment in this film where Owen's life seems in real, tangible danger, which plays counter to the movie's goal to be a sweaty-palmed suspense thriller.
